MRS. JOYCE JEANETTE BEAN, age 88, of Rollins Drive, Summerville, Georgia, passed away Sunday afternoon, June 12, 2022, in a Rome health care.  

She was born in Chattooga County, Georgia on December 22, 1933, a daughter of the late Grady J. and Hattie Hines Johnson.  A member of Midway Baptist Church, She was retired sales clerk for the former Jackson Drug Store of Summerville, and was preceded in death by husbands, the late William T. Bean and the late Raymond Thompson.

 Surviving are son and spouse, William David and Doreen Bean; granddaughter and spouse, Kira Bean and James Austin; great granddaughters, Alyssa Kate Austin and Anna James Austin; sisters, Vira Reynolds and Threasa Daughtery; several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

 Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 15th, at 2:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Peppers officiating, interment in West Hill Cemetery.  The Family will receive friends Wednesday from noon until 2:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
