Mrs. Linda Sue Hegwood, age 77, of Menlo, GA, died Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Hegwood was born September 6, 1942, in Trion, GA, daughter of the late James and Tennie Copeland Anderson.  She was a homemaker and a member of Berea Church of Christ.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sayre Monroe Hegwood; a daughter, Penny Bandy; and a sister, Mary Wade.

Survivors include her sons, Johnnie (Michelle) Hegwood, Ricky (Tammy) Hegwood, DeWayne (Angela) Hegwood; 9 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Graveside and interment services for Mrs. Hegwood will be held at 3:30 P.M. (E.S.T.) Friday, January 10, 2020, in Berea Church of Christ Cemetery with Min. Berlin Murphy and Min. David Mitchell officiating.

Mrs. Hegwood will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 P.M. (E.S.T.) Friday.
