Mrs. Lorena Crouch, age 86, of Summerville, GA died Monday, July 27, 2009 at Golden Living Center in Rome, GA.

Mrs. Crouch was born February 18, 1923 in Summerville, GA, the daughter of the late David Washington Searles and Hattie Mae McGraw Searles. She was retired from Riegel Textiles.

Mrs. Crouch attended First Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer Mitchell; second husband, Tom Smithson, third husband, James Crouch; son, David Smithson; sister, Gladys Ivey; and a brother, Roy Searles.

Survivors include her children, Theresa and Bradley Lee, Silver Creek, GA and Jerry Mitchell, Summerville, GA; sisters, Vivian Lewis, Cedar Bluff, AL and Sue Dobson, Canton, GA; brother, Alfred Searles, Rome, GA; grandchildren, Alan Mitchell, Terry Mitchell, Jerri Berry, Joshua Lee, and Tara Lee; 9 Great-grandchildren; several Nieces and Nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Summerville Cemetery with Dr. Philip May officiating. Pallbearers will be Terry Mitchell, Justin Mitchell, Mike Chatman, Terry Lewis, Donny Lewis, and David Searles.

Mrs. Crouch will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2009.
