Mrs. Louie Beatrice Crawford, age 87, of Lyerly, GA died Sunday, September
2, 2012 at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
 
Mrs. Crawford was born September 20, 1924, in Lyerly, GA.  She was the
daughter of the late Jim Starling and Sadie McDaniel Starling.  Mrs. Crawford
was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church.  She attended the schools of
Chattooga County.  She was a kind and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters and three
brothers.
 
Mrs. Crawford is survived by her husband of 50 years, Matthew Crawford;
daughters and son-in-law, Irene Exum and Dorothy and A.D. McDaniel;
4 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren; sister-in-law, Dayton Crawford;
Nieces, Nephews, and other Relatives.
 
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m.  Thursday, September 6, 2012
at Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Reed officiating.  Burial will
follow in Lyerly Mt. Bethel Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Gary Knox, Mose Adams, Alfred McDaniel, Otis Martin, Samuel Johnson, and Jesse Adams.
 
Mrs. Crawford will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family
will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 p. m. Wednesday.
