Mrs. Louise “Pete” Sprayberry, age 96, of Trion, GA, died Saturday, August 29, 2026, at her residence.

Mrs. Sprayberry was born November 27, 1929, in Guntersville, AL, daughter of the late Glen Randolph Cagle and Gracie Lee Mann Cagle.  She was a member of the West Berryton Faith Temple, and prior to her retirement, owned and operated Sprayberry Kennels.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Martin Sprayberry; daughter, Brenda Hatfield; sisters, Phyllis Swords and Hazel Lee Hartline; brothers, Randy Graham Cagle who was killed in action during the Vietnam War, and Jimmy Wayne Cagle.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Alisa (Mike) Mosley and Rusty (Traci) Williams; great-grandchildren, Summer Williams, Colton Floyd, Dakota Williams, and Jamison Griffin; great-great-grandchildren, Hudson Williams, Chevelle Griffin, Nova Randles, and Skyler Griffin.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 5, 2026, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Junior Stephens officiating.  Interment will follow in the Ridgeway Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Scott Hughes, Blaze Hughes, Scott Sprayberry, Stephen Sprayberry, and Blake Randles.

Mrs. Sprayberry will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service on Saturday.
