Mrs. Louise Virginia Bynum, age 78, of Trion, GA, died Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at the Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Bynum was born January 23, 1937, in Ringgold, AL, daughter of the late James Milton and Ethel Inez McCullough Todd. She was a member of the Pennville Church of Christ, and prior to her retirement, was employed with the Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bynum, Jr.
Mrs. Bynum is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Charles S. "Buster" Bynum III, Dewayne T. and Rita Bynum; daughters and sons-in-law, Melanie and Steve Dover, Tammy Bynum, Deborah and Scotty Brown; brothers and sister-in-law, Johnny Todd, Gene and Vera Todd; sisters and brothers-in-law, Azie and John Crane, Karen and Lee Warren; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bynum will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, November 7, 2015, from the Pennville Church of Christ with Min. Robbie Eversole officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Brian Dover, Ricky Dover, Alex Bynum, Chris Dover, Bobby Dover, and David Lassetter. Honorary pallbearers will be the nurses, aides, and staff of the Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Bynum will be in state at the Pennville Church of Christ and the family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Saturday.
