Mrs. Mary J. Blackmon, age 69, of Penn Street-Trion, Georgia passed

away Friday, May 17, 2013 at her residence. Born in Chattooga County,

Georgia on January 21, 1944, She was a daughter of the late James

Randolph and Mozelle Love Moon. Mrs. Blackmon was a member of 

Living Waters Ministries and was retired from the preparation department

of Mount Vernon Mills.

Surviving are her husband, James H. Blackmon, Jr.; daughter, Tina Rana

Loggins of Trion; three sons, James H. Blackmon III and Kenny Ray

Blackmon, both of Trion and Marty Lamar  Blackmon of Summerville,

Chelsea Community; four sisters, Margaret Timms of Fl., Paulette Hayes

of N.C., Charlotte Ann Taylor of Summerville, and Brenda Lewis of

Cartersville; eleven Grandchildren, thirteen Great Grandchildren, several

Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 21st, at 2:00 p.m. from the J.D.

Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. Billy 

Wright and Rev. John Mann officiating, interment in West Hill Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers Doug Green, Darrell McGuire, Isaac Moon, Billy Blackmon,

Trampus Kiser, Cody Moon, Todd Taylor. The Family will receive friends at

the Funeral Home Monday evening from 7 until 9 p.m.
