Ms. Molly Inez Ragan, age 78, of Summerville, GA died Wednesday,

December 26, 2012, at Floyd Medical Center.

 

Ms. Ragan was born January 26, 1934 in Florence, AL, the daughter of the late Sam Stricklin and Frances Wisdom Stricklin.  She was a member of Dry Valley

Baptist Church and was retired from Mt. Vernon Mills.  Other than her parents,

she was preceded in death by brothers, Jimmy Stricklin, Sammy Stricklin,

Grant Stricklin, and William Dewey Stricklin.

 

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Daryl and Cathy Ragan and

Michael and Lesley Ragan; daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and Don

Greene and Tracey and Bobby Perkins; brother, James Stricklin; sister,

Shirley Willingham; 9 Grandchildren; and 8 Great Grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at

Dry Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Weaver officiating.  Burial will

follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens.  Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Stricklin, JR, Eddy Willingham, Colby Perkins, Christian Proctor, Todd Stricklin, and Sam Stricklin, JR.  Honorary pallbearers will be all members of Grace Sunday School Class of Dry Valley Baptist Church.

 

Ms. Ragan will lie in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive

friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p. m. Friday, December 28, 2012.  She will also

lie in state at Dry Valley Baptist Church on Saturday from 12:30 until the

service hour.
