Mrs. Nellie Mae Lawson, age 88, of Summerville, GA, formerly of Atlanta, GA, passed away Friday June 29, 2012, in Floyd Medical Center. Mrs. Lawson was born March 15, 1924, in Atlanta, GA, the daughter of the late Charles and Nannie Leathers Young. She was a home maker and preceded in death by her husband, William Lawson. Survivors include her grandchildren, Monique Bush, Cindy Wilson, Corinne DeVita, Special care giver her nephew and his wife, Bobby and Ann Ergle, sister, Margie Ergle, Summerville, GA, brother, Jewell Young, Atlanta, GA, and several other nieces and nephews also survive Mrs. Nellie Mae Lawson. Graveside and interment service will be held Monday July 2, 2012, 12:00 noon from the Hillcrest Cemetery in East Point, GA, with Rev. Greg King officiating. Mason Funeral Home of Summerville is in charge of the funeral arrangement for Mrs. Nellie Mae Lawson who died on Friday.
