MRS. RUTH HAYES, age 84, of Summerville, GA, passed away 

Wednesday (November 12, 2014) morning in a Rome hospital.

 Mrs. Hayes was born October 30, 1930, in Fannin County, Georgia,

 a daughter of the late Rev. Samuel Harrison and Rosia Carlee

 Davenport; She was Baptist by faith and a Home Maker.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Vernon Hayes; two 

daughters, Thelma Hall (David McCullough) and Kathy Jarrett 

(Mike) all of Summerville; two sons, James Hayes and Allen 

Hayes (Troyce) of Summerville; sisters: Mary Davis of Cartersville,

 Effie Hayes of Summerville, and Edith Stanley of Talking Rock, GA.; 

Grandchildren: Jamie Rollins, Amanda Parker, Charlie Jarrett, 

Jeffery Jarrett, Matt Hayes, Chris Jarrett, Jesse Hayes and Lonnie 

Hayes; 13 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
 
	Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 13, at 1:00 P.M.

Home with Pastor David Hayes officiating interment in New Antioch 

Cemetery, Blue Ridge, GA. Active Pallbearers will be:

 Derek Parker, Charlie Jarrett, Jeffery Jarrett, Matt Hayes,

 Chris Jarrett, Jesse Hayes and Lonnie Hayes. Visitation

 will be Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service. The family requests no food.
