Ms. Cassidy Alexis Gardner, 18, of Summerville, GA died Monday, December 2, 2013 from injuries

received in an automobile accident. 

 

Cassidy was born August 2, 1995 in Fort Oglethorpe, GA, the daughter of

Jeffrey Lamar Gardner and Wendelin Secret Brown Atkins.  She was a graduate of

Trion High School and was currently attending Georgia Northwestern College.

Cassidy was a member of the Summerville Pentecostal Worship Center.  She was

preceded in death by her grandmother, Margaret Gardner, great-grand parents, Walter Nichols, Howard and Pauline Finster, Paul Gardner, Oliver and Evelyn Brown.

 

Survivors include her father and step-mother, Jeff and Tabatha Gardner; mother

and step-father, Wendelin and Christopher Atkins; brothers, Zachary Gardner,

Staven Gardner, Gunnar Gardner, Blaze Hughes, and Calvin Atkins; sisters,

Chloe Vavaliente, and Emarey Gardner; grandparents, Gary and Carol Brown,

Tommy and Judy Gardner; Beverly and Danny Guinn, and Reford and Gail Atkins; great grandparents,

Betty Nichols, Foye Gardner, Madia Lou Kinsey.

 

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p. m. Friday, December 6, 2013 at Mason

Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andy Huthins and Rev. Kevin Woods officiating.

Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Chuck Cox, JR,

Seth Cox, Brian Baggett, Brian Kittle, Nedoka Self, Sidney Self, Dylan Thorton,

and Zach Martin.  Honorary pallbearers will be all members of the Trion High

School Class of 2013.

 

Cassidy will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends

from 6:00 until 8:00 p. m. Thursday, December 5, 2013.
