Ms. Theresa Irene McDowell, age 55, of Trion, GA, died Friday, November 14, 2014, in Summerville, GA.
 
Ms. McDowell was born April 14, 1959, in Trion, GA, daughter of J.B. and Bertha Eulene Vernon Timmons.  She was Baptist by faith and was preceded in death by her son, Quincy Arp; a sister, Annette Timmons Campbell; grandparents, Bill and Emma Vernon, and Robert L. and Tavie Timmons.
 
Ms. McDowell is survived by her parents, J.B. and Bertha Eulene Timmons; son and daughter-in-law, Joesph and Nicole Wilson; daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Randy Smith; a brother, Eddie Timmons; sisters and brother-in-law, Kay and Mike Bartlett, Carol Tuttle; grandchildren, Autumn and Kaamel Baldwin, Kyle and Jade Timmons, Raven and Gavin Wilson, Dee McCutchins, Taj Smith, and Darrikus Smith; great-grandchildren, Kaamel Baldwin, Kaasyn Baldwin, and Kaapt’n Baldwin.
 
Funeral services for Ms. McDowell will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 19, 2014, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rickey Harris officiating.  Interment will follow in the Howell Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Eddie Timmons, Jerry Timmons, Eddie Timmons, Jr., Jason Brown, Jon Ledbetter, and Daniel Milstead.  Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Smith, Dee McCutchins, Emmanuel Perry, and Casey Reynolds.
 
Ms. McDowell will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 18, 2014.
