If you get power outage updates by text from North Georgia Electric Membership Corporation (NGEMC), there’s an important change to know.
NGEMC says the phone number used to send outage text messages is changing. Going forward, outage messaging will be sent from (833) 941-6707. Members who receive NGEMC text alerts are encouraged to save the new number in their contacts so outage updates are easy to recognize.
NGEMC provides electric service across a large portion of Northwest Georgia, serving members in Chattooga, Catoosa, Floyd, Gordon, Murray, Walker, and Whitfield counties.
Chattooga County / Trion office contact:
For members locally, NGEMC’s Trion office is located at 13822 Highway 27, Trion, and can be reached at 706-734-7341.
