Mrs. Louise Price Powell 80 of Summerville passed away on Sunday June 6th at her residence…She was retired from Mount Vernon Mills born in Gayesville Alabama to the late Homer and Mamie Stalling Price, one son Mr. Ray Price , granddaughter Jerica London, 3 brothers and 7 sisters preceded her in death…Survivors include her husband of 53 years Mr. George O Powell, one son  Homer and Debra Price, 2 daughters, Betsy and Wayne Perry and  Angelia Powell, 5 sisters,  Classie Evans,  Patricia Martin, and  Allie Black all of Summerville,  Linda and Billy Morgan of Lyerly, Sarah and Noah Harris of Atlanta…Mother in law Minnie Powell of LaFayette, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren 2 great-great grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive….Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 10th, at 2 Pm from New Spirit and Truth in Jesus Church on Scoggins Street with Eulogist Dr. Willie Womble and Bishop V.T. Harden officiating, the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30PM  on Wednesday evening at the church..Interment will follow in Allgood Cementery in Trion …Willis Funeral Home makes the arrangements for the family…
