Mrs. Rebecca Jayne Rodgers age 58 of Gaylesville, Alabama formerly of the Holland Community and Lyerly for 30 years, passed away on Sunday (March 1, 2009) morning at her residence following an illness.  A native of Cherokee County, Alabama she was born to the late James Dan Richey, Sr. and Frances Tevis Pruitt Richey on July 28, 1950.  Mrs. Rodgers was a teller for AmSouth Bank for 20 years; later she was a life insurance sales person.  She was preceded in death by her husband the late George Rodgers. Surviving are daughter and son in law, Laura and Ronald Bice of Summerville and grandchildren Matthew Bice and Brittany Carmon; step grandchildren, Kevin and Tiffany Bice and Vinita Youngblood; sister Gail Dorsett; brother, James Danny Richey both of Centre, Al and two nieces, April Greene and Denise Cope. Visitation will be Monday (March 2^nd) from 5 until 7 PM at the Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Funeral Service to follow at 7 PM.
