Mrs. Shirley Ann Smith Rabdeau, age 60, of Menlo, GA, passed away Sunday September 6, 2009, at her residence.

Mrs. Rabdeau was born August 21, 1949, in Chattooga County, daughter of the late Albert Wiley and Maggie Lou Brown Smith. She was a member of the New Hope North Baptist Church, member of the Best Silver Club, and was employed with Best Manufacturing. Mrs. Rabdeau was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn D. Rabdeau, brother, Billy David Smith, and sister, Janice Smith.

Survivors include a step-son, Steven Glenn, Michigan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wiley & Marsha Smith,Boaz, AL, George & Mary Sue Smith, Teloga, Ga, Albert & Shirley Smith, Jr., Alpine, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lula Gentry, Dry Valley, GA, Inez & Tiny Brown, Leona Prince, Minnie Smith, Betty & Kelly Wentz, Beth & Jack Wentz, Menlo, GA, Carolyn & Hoyt Hanks, Farill, AL; and a number of nieces and nephews .

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. in the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Malcolm Harris, Rev. Steve Spears, Rev. Jimmy Wilborn, and Rev. Mike Odom officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Hankins, Jamie Hankins, Aaron Wentz, Nathan Wentz, Kevin Smith, and Corey Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Members of the New Hope North Baptist Church and Co-Workers at Showa Best.

Mrs. Rabdeau will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, September 7, 2009. At other hours the family will be at the residence of a sister, Minnie Smith, 263 10th Avenue Menlo, GA
