The Summerville Middle School FFA is inviting the community to its annual plant sale, beginning tomorrow with a wide variety of flowers, vegetables, and herbs available.

The sale will run April 15 through April 18, 2026 at the Summerville Middle School greenhouse, located at 200 Middle School Road in Summerville.

Hours for the event are:

  • Saturday, April 18: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Shoppers can choose from a large selection of plants, including:

  • Hanging baskets ($15 each or 2 for $25) and single petunias
  • Portulaca packs, succulents, and 6-inch potted plants like citronella, coleus, and geraniums
  • Spider plants and Boston ferns
  • Herbs such as basil, cilantro, dill, and sage, along with specialty herbs like lavender and lemon balm

A variety of vegetable plants will also be available, including:

  • Tomatoes like Better Boy, Cherokee Purple, Roma, and cherry varieties

  • Melons such as watermelon and cantaloupe

Organizers say the event is a great opportunity for residents to pick up plants to kick off their spring gardens while supporting local students and agricultural education programs.
