The Chattooga County Chamber is shining a spotlight on the Leadership Chattooga Class of 2025, recognizing a group of local professionals who represent a wide range of organizations serving Chattooga County and Northwest Georgia.
wo people were transported to the hospital following a serious accident Friday afternoon on Penn Bridge Road. Emergency crews from Atrium Health Floyd EMS, the Trion Fire Department, and local law enforcement responded after an SUV left the roadway and struck a tree head-on.
A third person at the scene refused treatment.
Authorities have not yet released additional details about the cause of the crash or the conditions of those transported.
