The City of Summerville is advising residents that access to Summerville Cemetery will be limited beginning Monday, November 2, 2026, while scheduled tree maintenance is underway.

Certain sections of the cemetery may be temporarily blocked or inaccessible as crews carry out the work.

Visitors planning to visit gravesites should be aware of the restrictions and use caution around areas where maintenance crews are working.

The city says the work is part of ongoing efforts to maintain the safety and appearance of the cemetery and appreciates the public’s patience while the maintenance is completed.
