The City of Summerville is advising residents that access to portions of Summerville Cemetery will be limited beginning today, Monday, November 2, as scheduled tree maintenance gets underway.

City officials say certain sections of the cemetery may be temporarily blocked or inaccessible while crews carry out the work.

Residents planning to visit gravesites are encouraged to use caution and be aware of maintenance crews and equipment operating in the area.

The work is part of the city’s ongoing efforts to maintain the safety and appearance of the cemetery.
