This week’s WZQZ Chattooga Animal Shelter Pet of the Week is Diesel, a friendly dog looking for a forever home.

Diesel is a male dog described as sweet and playful, and he also does well with other dogs. His lovable personality and cheerful energy could make him a great addition to the right family.

Diesel is available now through the Chattooga County Animal Shelter, located at 464 Red Oak Drive in Summerville. The adoption fee is $25.

The shelter is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesday visits are available by appointment. For more information, call 706-857-0679.
