The featured performance will be Pink Houses, a John Mellencamp tribute band, taking the stage from 7:30 to 9:30 PM in the East Washington Street Entertainment District. An opening local act will begin at 7 PM.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of great music in downtown Summerville. The event is sponsored by the City of Summerville Main Street.

The concert lineup kicks off April 24 at 7 p.m. with Pink Houses, followed by the 1st Generation Band on May 15, and Strictly Skynyrd on June 19. Each performance will begin at 7 p.m. on the outdoor stage, offering a mix of classic rock, soul, and Southern favorites for music fans of all ages.

Parking Striping Planned Along Commerce Street in Summerville

The City of Summerville is alerting residents and visitors to planned parking striping work along Commerce Street in the downtown area this weekend.

City officials say crews will be working throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday, and sections of parking along Commerce Street may be temporarily blocked off to allow for the striping to be completed.

Throughout the month of February, Downtown Summerville will be lined with personalized, heart-shaped messages designed to celebrate the people, places, and stories that make the community special.

Organizers say the project is a chance for everyone to share a message in a fun and visible way, whether it’s a shout-out to a favorite small business, a tribute to a loved one, a school celebration, or a note of encouragement for the community.
