Northwest Georgia is starting December on a very wet note, as waves of rainfall move across the region today through Tuesday afternoon. Chattooga County and surrounding areas can expect steady, soaking rain with some heavier pockets possible at times. While no severe weather is anticipated, this prolonged rainfall will be beneficial for our drought conditions — though it won’t be enough to completely break the drought.
