Chattooga County Tax Commissioner Joy Hampton has released information on properties that are to be auctioned on the Chattooga County Courthouse steps in the May tax auction.

At the last tax sale, held the first Tuesday in April, there were originally five properties scheduled to be auctioned off, but four of the property owners came in and settled their tax bills before the sale.
