The University of Georgia is reporting another strong and highly competitive admissions cycle for the Class of 2030, reflecting continued growth in student interest from across Georgia and beyond.

UGA received more than 34,000 early action applications for the incoming class, marking another significant increase in applicants and underscoring the university’s rising demand. The school extended early admission offers to more than 10,700 students, showing just how selective the process has become.

Students admitted in the early round posted impressive academic credentials. The middle 50 percent of admitted applicants reported core GPAs ranging from 4.18 to 4.43, along with SAT scores between 1400 and 1510 and ACT scores from 32 to 35. Many also completed a rigorous high school course load that included numerous Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, or dual-enrollment classes.

UGA’s applicant pool also showed the school’s wide reach, with students applying from nearly every corner of Georgia as well as from across the nation. University leaders say the latest numbers continue to highlight UGA’s reputation as one of the top public universities in the country and a destination for high-achieving students.

The latest admissions figures point to another freshman class shaped by strong academics, intense competition, and growing statewide and national interest in the University of Georgia.
