A vehicle theft reported in Summerville is under investigation after a resident discovered her car missing from her property on Raymond Street.

According to the incident report, the theft was reported by Judy Roan. The complainant told authorities that a male subject, identified in the report as her grandson, had been seen searching through the vehicle before it was taken without permission.

The stolen vehicle is described as a 2006 purple Chevrolet HHR, valued at approximately $6,000. Law enforcement entered the vehicle into the system as stolen and issued a lookout for the suspect.

The complainant stated she wished to pursue charges in the case.
