Mr. Wilburn Jarrett, age 63 of Summerville, passed away Sunday afternoon in a Chattanooga, TN hospital from injuries received in an auto accident on April 6th. A native of Hall County, Georgia He was born to the late George and Ruth Buffington Jarrett on December 28, 1944. Mar. Jarrett was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Summerville, a Veteran of the U.S. Army and was a retired farmer. Preceding him in death a sister the late Sarolyn Jarrett and a brother Donald Jarrett. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law Jason and Melissa Jarrett; granddaughter Bailey Kellett all of Summerville; sister Jimmie Murray of Gainesville; brothers and sisters-in-law De Jaun and Joan Jarrett and Mike and Kathy Jarrett all of Summerville. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. from the J.D. Hill Memorial Chapel of the Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. David Hix and Mr. Gary McConnell officiating, interment in the Jarrett Cemetery. Active Pallbearers – Gary McConnell, Pete Denson, Charlie Jarrett, Jeffery Jarrett, Chris Jarrett and Ryan Jarrett. Honorary Pallbearers – Tommy Dooley, David Hurley, Shane Davis, Michael Montgomery, and members of the American Legion Post #129. The Family will receive friends at the residence of his son Jason Jarrett at #3795 Mahan Road after 6 p.m. today (Monday) and Tuesday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
