Mr. William David “Bill” Ingle, age 69, of Summerville, passed away Friday, June 12, 2009 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Ingle was born in Jamestown, Alabama on February 18, 1940, son of the late John Wesley Ingle and Rosa Beatrice Reynolds Ingle. He was of the Baptist Faith and prior to retirement, was employed with Riegel Textile Mill as a Machinist. Mr. Ingle was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Ingle Petitt; a granddaughter, Holly Elizabeth Petitt; sisters, Gertrude Maples and Bertha Mitchell; brothers, T.J. Ingle, Wesley Ingle and Earnest Ingle.

Mr. Ingle is survived by his wife, Lena Winters Ingle of Summerville; daughters and sons-in-law, Zeta and Ken Reynolds of Summerville, and Joyce and Jeff Warren of Rome; Brothers, Albert Ingle of Jamestown, AL, and Earl Ingle of California; Grandchildren, Leanna Warren and Daniel Reynolds; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Ingle will be held Monday, June 15, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Smith, Rev. Howard Payne and Rev. J.C. Mitchell officiating. Entombment will follow in the Green Hills Memory Gardens.

The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers: Ricky Ellison, Jerral Ingle, Daniel Reynolds, Oliver Brown, Cecil Reynolds, Randy Murdock, Don Murdock and Billy Glen Mitchell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gwynne and Nancy Ingle, Walter and Evelyn Ochsenknecht and D.C. And Betty Sanford.

Mr. Ingle will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 until 8:30 P.M.
