A Chattooga County woman was arrested recently on DUI charges after being pulled over by law enforcement. A Chattooga County deputy conducted a traffic stop with a White Volkswagen Beetle that seemed to be turning down multiple roads to lose him. The vehicle had suspended registration and no valid insurance.
The driver, thirty-six-year-old Cindy McKissick, appeared very nervous and jittery, she was asked if she had took anything or if there was anything illegal in her car to which she said, “no”.
McKissick also said the deputy could not search her car.
After a field sobriety test, McKissick was placed under arrest for DUI for drugs. At that point, McKissick began talking to deputies and admitted that she had several different pills in her car but could only remember one of them was Adderall.
The pills were then located in the door of her vehicle and McKissick was transported to the Chattooga County Jail.
