Here is the latest arrest report from the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office for Wednesday, November 29, 2017:
Last Friday, a local deputy responded to a report of trespassing.
The complainant told the deputy that someone had been on their lease property without their consent at the end of Dave Moore Rd in Summerville.. The complainant said the suspect had left a threatening note on the back of a posted sign, and they provided pictures of the suspect taken from trail cams set up in the area.
The deputy spoke with the suspect, 32-year-old Summerville man Dustin Elem. According to docket records, Elem denied trespassing until the deputy showed him the trail cam evidence submitted by the complainant, at which point he said he was “walking around earlier”, but Elem still denied writing the threatening note. Elem was warned to stay off the complainant’s lease property, and he agreed not to return.
