Recovery Alive and Connect City Church are preparing to bring golfers, community members and supporters together this fall for the inaugural Fairways To Freedom charity golf tournament.

The tournament is scheduled for Monday, October 19 at Stonebridge Golf Club, with registration beginning at 8 AM and a shotgun start at 9 AM.

The event will serve as a major fundraiser for Recovery Alive, a faith-based ministry focused on helping individuals and families find lasting freedom from addiction, trauma and other life-controlling struggles.

Recovery Alive describes its approach as “Power, People, Process,” providing Christ-centered recovery programs for people dealing with addiction, hurts, habits and hangups.

Money raised through Fairways To Freedom will help support and expand the ministry’s work, including weekly recovery meetings, outreach programs and assistance for families dealing with the challenges of addiction.

Organizers say participation in the tournament and sponsorships will directly support programs providing hope, healing and long-term recovery.

Connect City Church, a signature ministry of Recovery Alive Inc., is partnering in the tournament and helping coordinate volunteers, sponsorships and community participation.

Golfer registration is $125 per person or $500 for a four-player team.

Businesses, churches and other organizations are also being encouraged to participate through sponsorship opportunities. Organizers say sponsorship money will help cover tournament expenses, allowing more of the proceeds to go directly toward recovery ministry programs.
