The Trion Follies are making a comeback! It has been almost 20 years since the Trion Follies last took place. The Follies are at the Trion High School Gymnasium on Saturday, November 17.
The original Trion Follies date back to the days of the late Ethel Simmons. Simmons directed the Trion Follies with help from the Trion High School Band Boosters and band directors in the 1950s. Usually, each grade prepared a skit to be performed each year. Most of the costumes were hand-sewn by local seamstresses or mothers. The follies continues for more than 20 years.
The Trion Band Booster Club is looking for family oriented acts of all ages to perform on Saturday, November 17. If you have a special talent or ability to perform, complete a registration form as soon as possible.
