High School Football Tonight on WZQZ!

Week 6 of the 2025 high school football season kicks off tonight.  The Trion Bulldogs have a bye week this week.  The Dawgs fell to 2-3 on the season after last week’s 32-14 home loss to the Lafayette Ramblers.  The Bulldogs will rest up before welcoming the Manchester Blue Devils next week at Sam R. McCain Stadium for Homecoming.

The Chattooga Indians are still looking for their first win of the season after a disappointing 21-14 Homecoming loss to Gordon Central last week at the Little Big Horn.  The loss dropped the Indians to 0-4 on the season.  Chattooga will go on the road again tonight to take on an opponent who is having troubles of their own in the Armuchee Indians.  Armuchee closed out the season last year with 7 straight losses and have started this year with an 0-2 record.  The Armuchee Indians have only played two games this season so far, both at home, losing 38-19 to Ridgeland and 10-9 to Southeast Whitfield.

The Chattooga vs Armuchee game will be broadcast live on the WZQZ Facebook page as well as on the radio at 99.1 FM and AM 1180.  Join Chris “Bubba” Wilson and Steiner Davis along with cameraman Mason Gilreath as they will provide live coverage tonight from Armuchee.  Kickoff will be at 7:30 pm.
