Man Arrested After Pouring Drink On Store Clerk’s Head

A thirty-three-year-old Silver Creek man was arrested by Georgia State Patrol on Tuesday after he poured a drink on a clerk at the Circle K gas station on Shorter Avenue. According to Floyd County Jail records, Fatir Ibn Rasullullah Abdul Sul Pillow was told to pay for a drink he was attempting to purchase at another clerk’s register in the store (as the clerk was ending their shift). Mr. Pillow allegedly grew irate with the clerk, dumping his drink all over the worker, the register and nearby electronic products. Pillow was booked into the Floyd County Jail and is being charged with disorderly conduct and simple assault.

Trion Football Kicking & Punting Camp Next Week

Former Trion Bulldog Gus Navarro and current two-time All-State Kicker Andy Ramirez will be hosting a “Kicking & Punting” Camp coming up next week for grades six to twelve.  The camp will be held at Sam R. McCain Stadium in Trion and is free to attend.  The camp will take place each night from 7 PM – 8:30 PM.

Man Tells Police He Kept Drugs To Trade For Sexual Favors

On Thursday of last week, Officers were called to a home in Summerville regarding a man claiming self harm by firearm. Before arrival dispatch updated that the man had a gun and threatened to shoot EMS if they showed up to his residence. Once the officers arrived on the scene, they noticed the front door was wide open and they observed a subject in his recliner with no firearms around him. The subject stated he had no firearms in his house but gave consent to look around. The subject expressed he was concerned about other things he had in his home. He then grabbed a jar of meth from his room for the officers. After a thorough search of the house many drug related objects were found, along with methamphetamine, marijuana substances and suspected crack cocaine. The subject said that he doesn’t do meth, he gives it to females that come over to his house in return for sexual favors.  Police said that the subject is seeking mental health treatment.
