On Sunday, The Summerville Police Department responded to a call stating that someone was attempting to break into a home on Kirby Street. When an officer arrived on the scene Pierre Price was sitting by the road near the victim’s yard. He said he had permission to be on the property but that proved to be false. The officer walked Price over to his car and patted him down and ended up finding a methamphetamine pipe on him. Price was then placed under arrest and after being transported to jail, the jail officer found a rolled up cigarette with marijuana on the suspect as well. Price was charged with possession of methamphetamine, crossing guard lines with drugs, use of drug related objects, possession, and criminal trespass.
