Man Reports Expensive Stolen Chicken To Sheriff’s Office

On Thursday of this week, a deputy responded to a call about a theft on James Street in Summerville.  When the deputy arrived, he spoke with Anthony Hamby who said that someone had been on his property and stole a grey chicken with pearl white feet.  Mr. Hamby said the chicken was valued at $1,000.  Hamby said he believed a person had entered his property through the south side and had damaged a fence.  The incident was turned over to an investigator.

Georgia Dairy Farmers Team With Kroger To Provide Milk For Healthcare Workers

Georgia’s dairy farmers, along with Kroger Atlanta Division, have come together to deliver milk from the farm to the frontlines. The new Great Georgia Give campaign will deliver 24,000 half-gallons of local Georgia milk to first responders and healthcare workers across the Atlanta metro area.
