A twenty-year-old Chattooga County man was arrested last week after nearly striking a deputy’s patrol car on Highway 100 near Wildlife Lake Road.
Summerville Police responded to a call from a Blake Street man who reported someone had broken the front windshield of his vehicle. A responding officer talked with Josh Able who said that it appeared someone had thrown a brick into his car’s windshield. Mr. Able gave names of possible suspects and asked for a report to be filed and an investigation into who might have done the damage.
The City of Summerville will be installing a new generator at the water treatment plant coming up this Friday, June 17th. The city says that there could be intermediate power outages for Summerville Water Customers while the installation takes place. The city says that they appreciate the public’s patience.
