The Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a busted windshield in Lyerly on June 10th. According to a report release this week, a McLeod Street man said sometime around 2 AM someone came onto his property and smashed the right, front-side of his windshield on a 2000 Red Chevrolet Impala. The complainant told the deputy he did not know who could have committed the crime and that he doesn’t know anyone who would want to damage his vehicle. The damage was estimated around $500. The incident was turned over to an investigator.
