Dense Fog Advisory This Morning – Thunderstorms Expected

Mohawk Honors Veterans With Wreaths Across America

A Mohawk truck, carrying wreaths that will be placed on the graves of U.S. veterans, received a special escort by the Calhoun Police Department and Gordon County Sheriff’s Office as it traveled through Downtown Calhoun Friday morning on the way to deliver the wreaths. Wreaths Across America is a non-profit organization that coordinates the annual transport, delivery and placement of more than two million wreaths on the graves of U.S. veterans across the world. Wreaths Across America Day, when the wreath placement will take place, is today, Saturday, Dec. 18.
