AAA says that Georgia gas prices increased slightly at the pump compared to a week ago. Georgia motorists are now paying an average price of $2.97 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline. Monday’s state average was 1 cent more than a week ago, 4 cents more than last month and $1 more than this time last year.
In Georgia, 1 in 7 people live with food insecurity – not knowing where their next meal will come from. There’s Hope for the Hungry is a Christian ministry, founded in prayer in 2003 and committed to evangelizing and feeding people who are in need. The group is active in Chattooga County and will be distributing food in Trion this week.
