Three Hays State Prison inmates alongside a Valdosta State Prison inmate and an accomplice have all been indicted on federal drug trafficking and bribery charges.
The Miss Trion Pageant is coming up next month and will be held on April 17, 2021 at Trion High School. The proceeds from this event will benefit The Pride of Trion Band program.

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City, Georgia has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Northwest Georgia, including Chattooga County until 11 AM Sunday morning. A strong line of storms is approaching the area from the northwest. Damaging winds, possible tornadoes, hail and heavy rainfall are possible with these storms.
