A burglary at a new car dealership in LaFayette was reported on Monday when the business owners arrived at work to find someone had stolen a safe and eight vehicles.
A new business is set to have a Grand Opening this Saturday. “Somewhere Over The Rainbow Children’s Boutique” is located at 2967 Highway 337 in Menlo, near Ballard’s Hardware. The business will be offering children’s clothing from newborn to size 14/16 for boys and girls. In addition to children’s clothing, they will offer sweets, bleached T’s, gifts, oils and more. Come out for their grand opening this Saturday, March 13 at 10 AM. The boutique’s business hours are Monday through Friday from Noon until 8 PM and Saturday’s from 10 AM until 4 PM.
Georgia gas prices increased marginally at the pump compared to a week ago. Georgia motorists are now paying an average price of $2.58 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline. Monday’s state average is 1 cent more than a week ago, 30 cents more than last month, and 37 cents more than this time last year.
