Summerville Woman Says Man Chased Her With A Knife

Summerville Police received a report about a domestic incident that happened last week.  According to the complainant, a subject came to the residence she was at and demanded that the complainant leave with him.  The complainant said that she refused and ran out the back door.  The complainant said that the man came out the back door of the residence with a knife and began to chase her.  The woman escaped without injury and went directly to the Summerville Police Station.  Officers responded to the scene, but were unable to locate the offender. Police advised the woman of magistrate proceedings.

Summerville Resident Files Complaint With Police About Georgia Power

A Summerville resident has a complaint about Georgia Power.  It has nothing to do with her power bill though. The complainant is upset because Georgia Power cut a tree on her property without her permission.

Town Of Trion Council Meeting Thursday

The Town of Trion will have their regular Workshop / Council Meeting in the Town Hall Conference Room, Thursday, June 25, 2020. Menlo School Eighth Grade “Drive-Through” Promotion Wednesday

Menlo School will hold an eighth grade drive-through promotion parade at 6 PM on Wednesday June 24th.  School officials say, “Come out and support our 8th graders as we send them off to CHS. Social distancing guidelines do apply, and you can stand/sit all the way around the school campus, and bring signs to show your support as the students parade around campus.”
