The Georgia Department of Agriculture’s Georgia Grown program is partnering with Georgia-based The Cook’s Warehouse to offer artisan food products for sale online at http://www.cookswarehouse.com/georgia-grown. The new e-commerce web page solely devoted to Georgia Grown merchandise was launched mid-October, in time for holiday shopping.
The Town of Lyerly, Lyerly First Baptist Church, and Lyerly United Methodist Church will be hosting a Trunk or Treat in Angus McLeod Park on Saturday, October 27th beginning at 7 PM.
There will be free hot dogs, chips, popcorn and drinks, with a screening of Hotel Transylvania 3.
There will also be a hayride at 8 PM. Anyone interested in the hay ride, meet at Lyerly United Methodist Church no later than 8pm. Please bundle up for the hay ride.

Here is the latest Arrest Report from the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office for Monday, October 22, 2018:
A frost advisory warning has been issued for Chattooga County by the National Weather Service. In the picture above, periwinkle indicates a frost warning while indigo indicates a freeze warning.
The warning was issued at 4 AM and will expire at 8 AM later this morning.
Motorists are advised to use extra caution on the roadways this morning while the warning is in effect.
According to a report filed by a Summerville Police officer on Thursday, city resident Sandra Adams reported that several unauthorized transactions had been made using her PayPal account, which is linked to her personal checking account.
The transactions listed in the report total almost $4,000.
The incident is currently being investigated by the SPD as financial fraud.
