Traffic was shut down on Sunday afternoon on Highway 48 near Back Berryton Road.
There was an utility line hanging low above the road, and before an officer could get there, an 18 wheeler snagged it.
The truck broke three poles on Martin Street and lines were down across Highway 48. This led to a traffic detour that lasted a few hours.

Last Tuesday afternoon, Summerville residentPonda Wilson told a Summerville Police officer thatMiranda McMicheals’s car had been damaged.
An officer arrived at the Summerville Gardens apartment complex, where he recorded McMicheals’ 1999 Regal Buick as being damaged, including having a busted out driver’s side window.
A report was filed to have a record of the incident on file.
