The county-wide fifth Sunday night singing will be held this coming Sunday, October 29th at 6 PM at New Spirit and Truth Church located on Scoggins Street in Summerville.  Everyone is invited to attend.

North Summerville Baptist Church will have Trunk or Treat Sunday afternoon October 29th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Everyone is invited to come and join in the fun and fellowship.

Dry Valley Baptist Church will host their annual “Light the Night” event at the Trion Pavilion from 5-8 on Halloween night. Join Dry Valley for plenty of free food, fellowship, and fun!

Spring Creek Baptist Church will be having Judgement House October 27 – 29. Times for Friday and Saturday nights are 7 – 11 pm and 6-8 pm for Sunday night. Admission is a canned food item to help with supplying Thanksgiving meals through our outreach program. Everyone is invited to come and see what Judgement House is all about

A congregational singing will be held October 28th at the Pennville First Baptist Church, Saturday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. The singing will be 1hr. and 30 minutes only. Songs from the old Red Back Hymnal will be sung. If you love some of the older hymns, you will enjoy this singing. There will only be congregation singing, no solos or special groups. Brandon Gurley will be hosting this singing. Come join with us in praising the Lord in song. The church is located at 77 Moore Street in the Pennville community

On November 12, 2023, New Hope Methodist Church will be having their 2nd Anniversary Church Celebration with a regular 11:00 AM morning service, followed by 2PM afternoon celebration service. Rev. Robert E. Pete” Barrett. Pastor of New Hope will be giving the morning message. Rev. Randy Livsey, Pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Cartersville Georgia will deliver the afternoon message…. Harvest Worship Center in Trion, GA will be hosting a Women’s Conference, “Chosen” on November 3 – 4, 2023. Doors will open at 6:00PM on Friday and 9:00AM on Saturday morning. This is a time for women to come together and escape from the daily distractions and obligations of life to focus on themselves and make connections with other women in our community. We will have food, fellowship, worship, and focus on our true purpose as being “Chosen” women of God. (John 15:16). Our guest speaker will be Joy Chambley from MomswithSwords. As women, we always pour into our families, our jobs, and other relationships in our lives, but seldom get time to focus on us as women. This will be a great time for us to give
attention to ourselves and refuel for the days ahead.
