

Zoom in and discover the bigness of God in the smallest of things during VBS at North Summerville Baptist Church. June 22-26, 2025 from 6:00-8:00. Registration begins at 5:00 and a meal will be served at 5:30. We are offering classes for students who have completed kindergarten-5th grade. Parents must be present to register!
Calvary Baptist Youth will host their annual yard sale on Saturday June 7th from 8 am until 2 pm. Thousands of great items priced cheap! All proceeds will go to help teens attend summer church camp. The yard sale will be held at 171 Taylor Street in Summerville.
CHURCH IN THE PARK
Please join Calvary Baptist Church for “Church in the Park” on Sun., June 1st at 11:00 am. Meet at Sloppy Floyd Park-Pavilion #1 for an outdoor service with lunch to follow. All are welcome to the service and lunch, as well as afternoon activities for those who want to stay to hike, fish, boat, or relax. $5.00 parking fee applies.
There’s Hope For the Hungry will be at South Summerville Baptist Church Wednesday May 21st from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Food must be picked up in person.
The Harrisburg Church of the Nazarene, located at 2337 Harrisburg Road in Summerville, will be celebrating 87th Homecoming Sunday June 1st at 10:00 A.M. Worship Services speaker is David O’Neal and the Singing group will be Instruments of Grace. There will be a free luncheon afterwards in the fellowship hall. Everyone is invited to attend.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Pentecostal Power Ministries Fish Fry & Gospel Singing in the Park for June 7th @ Dowdy Park in Summerville has been cancelled. The event will be rescheduled at a later date and place.
Saturday night singing at Wayside Baptist Church on May 17th at 6PM with special singing by Sanctified Heirs and others. Every one welcome by song director William Tidmore and Pastor Chris Gibson and the congregation.
Local youth musicians will host a special St. Jude Benefit Concert at the Trion First Baptist Church on Sunday, May 18, at 6 PM. The event will be broadcast live on the WZQZ Facebook page.
This heartfelt event will feature local youth performers who will sing and offer prayers for those in our community affected by cancer.
In addition to the performances, attendees will have the opportunity to contribute to a worthy cause by making donations to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, supporting their mission to end childhood cancer.
Local performers include Brianne Gill, Will Groce, Brady Groce, Baylee Blair, Parker Thomas, Aubrey Burke, Addie Burke, Emma Carpenter, Bailey Smith, Hannah Price and Maddie Price.
