Wayside Baptist Church, located at 1525 Sloppy Floyd Lake Road in Summerville, invites children to their Vacation Bible School. The event will kick off with a “VBS Blast-Off” on July 19th from 12 Noon until 3 PM. Vacation Bible School will be held July 20-23 from 6 – 8 PM. All are invited to attend.
The Summerville First Baptist Church will host their 16th annual “Sharing HIS Love Through School Supplies”. The event will take place on Saturday July 19th beginning at 10 am and lasting until all supplies are gone. The event is for Chattooga County residents only and your child must be present. A hot dog lunch will be served. The event will be held at the church’s family life center at 125 Georgia Avenue in Summerville. The event is sponsored by Summerville First Baptist Church, Grady Allen and Jimmy Vaughn school supply.

Lyerly First Baptist Church, located at 265 Tennessee Avenue (behind City Hall), will be hosting a Vacation Bible School July 7-10 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. nightly. A light supper will be served each night and the 10th will be Family Night. The theme is True North: Trusting Jesus in a Wild World. All children Pre-K through 5th grade are invited.
Homecoming at Foster Mill Drive Baptist Church in Lafayette on July 13th at 10:30am. Mickey Skates will be preaching and singers will be Reedemed from Rome, GA.
The Countywide Fifth Sunday Singing will be held on June 29th at Beersheba Presbyterian Church, Teloga Community, beginning at 5:00 pm. There’s Hope For The Hungry will be at South Summerville Baptist Church this Wednesday June 18th from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Food must be picked up in person.
