Summerville First Baptist Church Easter Cantata on Sunday April 13th

The Summerville First Baptist Church will be hosting an Easter Cantata on Sunday April 13th at 11am.  The program is entitled “I Know My Redeemer Lives”, a celebration of our risen Lord and Savior. It is based on the song by Nicole C Mullin. It is a multimedia musical with a powerful affirmation of our faith in knowing that Jesus conquered death and purchased salvation for mankind with His atoning sacrificial death on the cross.

There will be a singing and mini-Homecoming at New Beginnings Baptist Church on Sunday March 30th at 11am.  The service will feature Jordan’s Shore and local singers.  A lunch will be served after the service.

There’s Hope For The Hungry This Wednesday At South Summerville Baptist

There’s Hope for the Hungry, a nonprofit organization dedicated to combating food insecurity and spreading the Gospel, will host a free food distribution event this Wednesday, February 19th, at South Summerville Baptist Church. Located on Highway 48, just past Mason Funeral Home, the church invites community members to come and receive assistance from 10 AM to 1 PM. This initiative aims to provide much-needed support to families facing hunger in the North Georgia region. Last year, There’s Hope for the Hungry made a significant impact, serving a staggering 69,261 people and providing food to 28,805 families. Among those served were 19,657 children and 14,104 senior adults, with a total of 482,139 pounds of food distributed. Remarkably, the organization also saw 998 professions of faith, highlighting their commitment to not only feeding the body but also nurturing the spirit.  Those community members in need are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity, as no identification is required to receive food.
