The Subligna Baptist Church presents a Subligna Christmas Celebration on December 16th & 17th from 5-7 PM. There will be a live nativity, free cocoa, cider, baked goods and kid craft. Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church on Everett Springs Road in Armuchee will be having a live nativity Friday, December 15th and Saturday December 16th from 6 PM until 8 PM each evening. Everyone is invited to come see the true meaning of Christmas.
Foster Mill Drive Baptist Church in Lafayette will be presenting their Christmas play on Sunday night December 10th at 6 pm.
North Summerville Baptist Church will host “Breakfast with Santa” Saturday December 9th from 10:00 AM – noon. Each child will receive a stocking filled with toys and treats while supplies last. The church is located at 119 Maplewood Drive Summerville, Georgia 30747.
Mountain View Baptist Church will present their Christmas play this Sunday December 10th at 5pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
New Hope North Baptist Church presents The Christmas Story on December 17th at 6:00 pm. There will be refreshments and gifts for all children attending after the play. Everyone is welcomed to attend!
Trion United Methodist Church will have their Brunswick Stew available Saturday, December 2nd. It is $9 per quart. It is on a first come first served basis. Reminder calls do not guarantee stew will be available. You may pick up your stew around 9:30 a.m. thru 1:00 p.m.
Also, the United Methodist Men will have a Bake Sale with a selection of cookies, brownies, fried pies, cakes and other goodies.
Lyerly First Baptist Church will be presenting their live nativity event, “A Walk Through Bethlehem”, coming up on Saturday, December 9th from 5- 8 PM. Second Baptist Church will be having an 83rd Church Anniversary service on Sunday November 26th at 11am. The special guest will be Pastor Melvin Mosley from Harmony Baptist Church in Summerville.
